Taylor Physical Therapy
is one of the Bay Area's leading orthopedic and sports clinics. We specialize in restoring function lost through a wide range of disabling conditions or injuries. In addition to traditional practices, we utilize advanced manual therapy skill, movement correction, patient education, and custom exercise prescriptions to help you achieve a full recovery.
In addition to the advanced manual therapy and movement correction techniques, we carefully guide you through the whole rehabilitation process.
We pride ourselves in learning new and better ways to help our patients recover faster and stay healthy longer.
Each treatment is one on one with a physical therapy specialist in a private or semi-private setting. We do not use aides.
We have expertise in the following areas:
- Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy
- Active Release Techniques® (ART)
- Maitland Manual Therapy
- Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT)
- Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
- Movement Correction
- Pre and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
- Sports Conditioning and Performance Enhancement
- Graston Technique®/IASTM
We use manual therapy to find and correct problems of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and joints. Manual therapy in conjunction with movement correction yields better and longer lasting results. Some of the techniques we use are: Maitland, Active Release Techniques, Myofascial Release, Scar Mobilization, Functional Mobilization, and more.
One of our specialties is finding and correcting the cause of your pain, not just treating the source. Utilizing approaches such as NKT, SFMA, Janda, and more, we are able to root out the true problem or imbalance and work with you to fix it.
Most of our therapy is done in private or semi-private rooms, and we utilize the latest in light equipment. We do have standard gym equipment available for patients to use. Come in early to warm up or stay late to cool down.
